May 11:
Today we will begin reviewing solving two-step equations.  We will be using this website.  You must continue working these problems until you get at least 10 questions correct. 

May 10:
Today we will review adding and subtracting integers.  You will use a website that we used way back at the beginning of the school year.  You must continue reworking the problems until you score a 100%.  Please follow these steps to locate the website:
1) Click on Integer Websites on the right hand side of the blog.
2) On the sqworl, click on the option for the Magic Potion
3) Click on Tests for Practicing.
4) Click on Test Adding and Subtracting
 
May 5:
Today we will have a battle of the best problem-solver.  You will have about 10 minutes for each website to become the student who can have the best results before we switch to the next website.

April 29:

March 1:
Today you will practice finding the area and perimeter of triangles and quadrilaterals by completing these practice problems independently.  If you get stuck, first refer to the problems we worked together in class yesterday.  Then review the videos on this blog.  Finally, raise your hand to ask a question.  We are getting ready for a Show What You Know later this week so be sure you are mastering this material.

February 28:
Today we will review the formulas that we discovered yesterday for area of a parallelogram and area of a triangle.  We will also discover the formula for the area of a trapezoid.  We will then work through these practice problems together.  Be sure you understand how to work all these problems because tomorrow you will work practice problems independently.

Today we will go over the answers to the notebook software practice problems that you completed yesterday.  We will also explore Google Earth and use it to calculate the perimeter of real buildings such as the Pentagon in Washington D.C.
 

February 23:
Today we will begin reviewing perimeter.  Click here for the notebook software problems that you need to complete.  Also, if you didn't finish building your robot yesterday on the perimeter website, you need to finish those practice problems today.
 

February 22: 
Due to touring OHS this morning, we will have shortened classes.  We will begin by completing the quadrilaterals quiz that we took yesterday.  I removed the names of the pictures, so there's no cheating this time!  When you make a 100% on this quiz, you should use this website to review perimeter.

Today we will continue with classifying quadrilaterals.  We will review using a smartboard activity.  You will then take a short quiz to make sure you can identify quadrilaterals.  You must make a 100% on this quiz before moving on.
